Box Elder County Divorce Records

Divorce cases are handled by the 1st District Court in Box Elder County, and the divorce records are the official documentation of these legal dissolutions of marriage. A Box Elder County divorce record can be the entire case file or a particular document (such as a divorce decree).

The public has access to divorce records under statutory provisions, including the provision governing court records (UCJA Rule 4-202.02). However, certain case details and documents may be available only to parties of the case and other authorized persons.

Note that certificates of divorce are provided through the Utah Office of Vital Records and Statistics for the years 1978 through 2010.
